the thunderstorm here really means thunderstorm.
it wasnt even severe thunderstorm and it's already quite jialat.
the wind blew off peiling's umbrella and the lightning was like wow.
and the rain sprayed right into my stall.

Ended at 2pm on tue and it was peiling’s off day, so we decided to checkout this ghostly manor thing that was supposed to be the 4th scariest haunted house in the world. Just fyi, everything there’s all fake so it isn’t real. And so happens, both of us are terribly hum ji and was super freaked out before we even entered. then we went through this path of stuff and it was totally all black. It was then i realised my night blindness is atrocious! I really cannot see anything at all, and i kept tugging onto this black cloth thing (peiling just highlighted to me that it’s white), thinking it was a path. Until peiling told me that that’s the dress of the ghost! What the heck! And we took so long to walk like this small path and realised that we were not even in the ghostly manor. That area was just the queue area.
Damn paiseh la! The woman at the entrance was sorta applauded by us. And when we finally entered, the place was so dark that i could hardly even see. Peiling said i kept almost walking into walls because i couldn’t see. Plus i kept trying to walk into this dead path till the ghost also cannot tahan us, and ask in her ghastly voice “so what’s the matter”, and we were like “okay nothing we found our way”. The ghost was quite worried that we still cannot find our way, and followed us for a distance to make sure we weren’t like lost or something. And omg it was just damn funny.
Afterwards we walked on to diana’s to have like the best breakfast in a long time. The portion was sooooooo huge and the waitress kept coming ever so often to ask if we’re doing okay. Think she gian the tips (plus she glanced at our tips while giving us the bill). Hahahahha! But yeah it was good!
Wed’s was my day off so rach, chinpang and i did ripcord cos chinpang had the free tix. Omg they’ll hoist you all the way up and rach had to pull the cord and we dived all the way down. Or rather swing down. Something like bungee jump. Okay will show you guys the dvd when im back.

hello family and friends

the internet connection has been atrocious.
and the trip to toledo isnt too bad. (:
-antique shop at erie street market that's not the least marketish
-tony packcos (hot dogs which by right was suppose to be very famous and tasted not too bad. some hungurian fuse with american style.)
-art museum which i really really enjoyed
-botanical gardens which seriously feels like singapore
-franklin park mall

the way there was good except till the part when we reached toledo.
it was sooooo adrenaline pumping.
the maps were so messed up and we were lost for like close to 45min i think.
i mean they didnt even have any welcome to toledo sign! it was when i saw this metropark gardens which is supposed to be in toledo till i suspect that we were in toledo. and after rach checked the map, we were like omg, we're in toledo!
rachel and i were struggling to read the maps and tiff was like what now what now, do i turn or head straight.
and rachel and i couldnt even find on the roads cause it was so confusing and we ended up making many wrong turns and almost headed to detroit. omg.
and the googlemaps gave us wrong directions and tiff almost turned into a one way street. omg.
in the end we managed to make our way to the erie street market and heave a sigh of relieve.
when we parked, everyone were like omg, like we sat maverick 10 times in a row kind.

but the drive in between locations were good and smooth and rach drove. apparently her driving skills wasnt too bad though she denies it. okay must be the works of my prayers.
we were so worried that rach was driving so we had to say a prayer before she hits the wheels.
and the guys' GPS was how fun la. was navigating back to sandusky for congwei and it'll really tell you every single turn. even those small turns will be detected by the GPS. zuperr cool.

and bascially that's it about toledo. not too bad for a day trip. (:

hello family and friends

i just came back from mass feeling that maybe today will be a better day.
but apparently, quite sleepy now so i doubt the above statement's going to take effect.

okayy the highlight for the week. i blew 100plus dollors sing in the mall. sorry la the stuff really very cheap and too long never have any life already, so cannot help it.
the loot so far:
-2 rue21 tshirts for only 5usd each! (sis we can share!)
-one grey skinny that i got cheated, thinking it's 5 bucks (since it's in the 5bucks rack) but it's actually nearing 8bucks. -that shall go to mummy.
-one aeropostale shrit for sis
-one aeropostale polo t for myself myself myself! it's like 10sing only la!
-and the highlight! one adidas air running shoes which is only 37usd! like wow, in spore this is going to cost like 100bucks and above okay!
but sad to say it didnt increase my stamina cos i was rather tired after running around 2km i think.
ps: i ran in the amusement park which seems pretty weird but who cares.

the next highlight, we missed the last bus from sandusky mall, so we ended up walking back to our dorms!
surprisingly 5km wasnt all that far and it was quite a load of fun.
thankfully congwei and chinpang had some maps and they sorta navigated our way back.
and we took photos as checkpoints and all.
sooo yeahh that's fun.

and work has been nothing but saddening. everyday is getting more and more competitive cos new people are coming in. we're getting little hours and everyday a handful of people will be sent home without working.
and they were saying like if you didnt call out and all you'll be sent home.
and the customers are horrible shits.
whole day make your life damn difficult and miserable.
like get a life. it's just a game for kids. what do you expect man.
full size machine guns and feather light plastic cups?!?!?!?!?
like seriously.
rude, arrogant and ignorant.
plastic cups and they can say it's magnetic. dont they ever take science in primary school.
okayy shall stop bitching.

The internet is sooooooooooo slow that it took 15min to load my mousehunt. and since the rest are loading i’ll just pen down my post in Microsoft word.
Having an hour break but in approximately 5min i’ll need to be heading back and get people to play my game which seldom get any winner. HAHAH
The break is an hour for a 8hour shift so wooh it’s going to be 5more hours before off work.
Better get going!

goodness this blog has been so neglected like all my 101 other blogs.
but thank goodness, nuaing has prompted me to do something constructive and here am i blogging again.

the major change in our very awesome life here-WE MOVED DORMS.
away from our very chilly room, better known as alaska. (basically my roommate likes to change to high cold because she constantly feels toasted)
so now we're living in cedar point itself and it's sorta cheaper than our previous dorms. given my very low income due to little hours, this is really good man.
plus no squeezing on the bus which is always not on time. and my goodness, the people here are more kiasu than singaporeans, especially the hei rens. they just squeeze and push and before you know it you're quite at the back. thank goodness we moved.

plus this place is soooo near place where we change our uniforms, it's near the cafe which isnt exactly cheap but at least decent food, near this place where i can go to mass on sundays (only 5min away!) and work is just a 15min walk, and we (rach, tiff, hayley) get to live in the same room! totally awesome man. and this time i mean it. like really awesome.
okay except for the fact that we cant figure out how to open the windows so our room is constantly quite stuffy. and the bathing area is like zuper small. and the disgusting bugs all over the place. but other than that, it's good. (:

and apparently eunice is a very very very uncommon name here. i have people asking me how to pronouce my name almost everyday! and this girl even asked if i made this name up. like what the heck. eunice is so common in singapore that you shout eunice across the streets and a couple heads will turn.
and someone told hayley that she has a nice accent. i guess we do have an accent cos people can hardly understand what i say unless i repeat it or say it quite slowly.
that time hayley and i were just randomly speaking about microwaving our dinner and stuff, and this guy asked what language were we speaking. and i was like "that doesnt sound english to you?" and he was like opps, that was english?!
hahaha seriously, is it really so indecipherable.

and many other stuff which im too lazy to write about. but that's all for now!

trapped in the shuttle bus area for 30plus minutes with tiff and her working friend (think it's amanda) cos we couldnt get onto the bus. and it was pouring and all we had was our sweatshirts. which was surprisingly good, though it's not waterproof.
was kinda shivering in it till we got back to our room.

and the mayflies (mosquito like flies that are harmless unlike real mosquitos, but nevertheless still annoying) are everywhere!
like they come in swarms. the entire booth or rather the entire place is covered with it either buzzing around or plastered to the walls. and i had to come up close and personal with them while putting up the prizes or taking down the prizes during closing. very intimate indeed.

and i've been doing this shooting game 2 days in a row. hope i get my spongebob or basket game back. the gun is really heavy to load and well, i like bears and spongebob better than monkeys. and monkey fur loves mayflies, so yucks.

giveee me more hours. im so bored from working 4hours a day, but spending 2-3hours preparing, taking the bus there, taking the bus back, walking all the way to games blah blah blah for 4 hours of work. booo.
but im not the worse. yi sin's friend, whatever his name was had 3hours for a couple of days. so they really over hired.
guess it's REALLY HOLIDAY! HEHHHHHHHH.

wooh this rather weird smelling girl just sat next to me. im not sure if it's her perfume, something she applied, her natural smell, or she just didnt bathe. but errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, im outta here.

instant noodles coming up next dinner for i think.
